I am
still having problems posting on my blog but I think I managed to solve the
problem. Hopefully.
Wow just
wow. There is a reason why this episode was the most tweeted season premiere of
all time. (It beat The Walking Dead's season 3 premiere)
Lets get
right into it. We last left the girls opening the trunk of Wilden's cop car and
now we finally get to see what's inside it. A pig yep that's right a pig. We
waiting all of these months for a pig? While the other girls a too busy being
in shock, Mona decides to get in the car and steal the police camera data.
Hanna:
"Mona what are you doing?"
Mona:
"Saving your mum!"
Mona
takes the data to save Ashley, Hanna's mum. But she had to hurry because people
were coming and were gonna see the cop car. So it's a race against time for
Mona to get the data and for the girls to get out of there without being seen.
But in the end they manage to get away along with Mona.
Now this
is when it gets really interesting. Mona spills the beans. Well not before she
gets into with Emily telling her that she really was the weakest link and
because her she became strong.
Mona:
"I put the car in Hanna's garage, and that was the last I saw of it."
"Shana
knew Jenna before she came to Rosewood. I think she's in love with her. They're
both afraid of Melissa."
"When
Cece came to Radley I thought she was Ali. I don't remember what we talked about;
it was before they changed my meds."
"Lucas
gave Emily that massage. He said you were tense."
"I
recruited Toby when he got that job in Bucks County."
"I
didn't push Ian off the bell tower. I wish I knew who did."
And
that's it. Mona spilled those beans all over the floor. So much new information
to sink in so little time.
Hanna
wakes up to discover the door open and Mona gone. But Mona took Emily’s car to
get the girls coffee no surprise that she had her own pair. The girls drive by
the cop car and see a big commotion. "All this for a muddy cop car and a
dead pig" Ems said but the situation was worse than they thought because
the wind blew and blew the cover off of a dead body and the dead body in
question was Detective Wilden. He was shot five times, he was executed.
Toby was
looking at the burnt lodge and the fire crew were looking through the damage. A
fireman picks up a charred Red coat. Hmmmm
Meanwhile
the girls are in Mona's lair. "If red coat is A then she saved us
just so she could set us up for Wilden's murder" Mona said. But while they
are discussing this someone is watching them. Hanna sees the mask Caleb wore on
the Halloween train and realises that Mona was on the train dressed like Caleb.
"To think we were this close to our first kiss" Aria then thinks that
Mona was the one that tried to kill her on the train. Mona said its not her and
she has proof. She shows them a video of the Queen Of Hearts. Wilden was the
queen of hearts talking to another one Mona says was Melissa but right before
she took the mask off someone hacked the video and deleted all of her files.
But wasn't Jason on the train as well? Didn't Aria attack him with a loose nail
or screw?
After the
hacking the girls hear little kids playing outside mention their and Alison's
names. The girls go to investigate and see five little girls playing with dolls
that just so happens to have their names and looks like a younger version of
themselves. Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Mona yes even Mona. The little Aria
said that her friend Alison gave them to them. She's been playing with them
soon after Mona moved in.
Paige
wanting to get away from everything tells Emily her plan to go to Stanford.
They recruited her and she wants Emily to go with her, Emily says yes to my
surprise. While they are saying goodbye someone is watching them which looks to
be through binoculars or a camera but it was just Jenna. Jenna came over to Em
after Paige left. She wants Em to tell Toby that she never mean’t to hurt him.
Does that mean Jenna was the one that knocked Toby out in the woods?
Aria got
called to the principal's office and while waiting she had a little fantasy
about what if her and Ezra's relationship was exposed well their sexual relationship
anyway. The police came to arrest Ezra in school because it was a crime. But
turns out Aria was only called to the principal's office because the principal
needed to give Aria something to give to her mum.
Spoby
were having a nice breakfast until Toby gets a text from A.
We the flashback
to Toby's past and we see him with Alison then his mum walks in. Toby is
worried about her because she seems out of it but Alison just thinks she is lazy.
Toby gets another message from A basically saying that if he delivers Mona's
lair to A he will find out what happened to his mother. Which of course Toby
does.
Alison's
mum moves back to rosewood which is weird but what's even weirder is that she
was watching Spencer through the window. Just then Spence gets a message from A.
"Closed
caskets keep secrets. His is open and exposes yours. Kisses, Bitches
-A"
Meanwhile
Hanna and Mona arrive back at Hanna’s house with lots of shopping bags in toe.
Hanna is playing nice so that she can get close to her and get the recording of
her mother. Mona being Mona and being super smart realises that she is faking
their reformed friendship. So she just gives her the recording of her mother
trying to regain her ex-bestie’s trust.
Spence
tells the others about her message from A and so they head to the
funeral (looking hot btw) their plan is to split up and whoever finds the
casket send out an S.O.S. Spencer found the casket with Mona and a phone was
ringing in Wilden’s pocket. Spencer called back and Hanna picked up. A
took Hanna's mum's phone from her hotel and planted it in Wilden’s casket. On a
side note, Ali's mum mentions to Hanna that "Ali would be so happy to see
that you kept the weight off."
New
officer in town Officer Holbrook (played by Sean Faris) he and his partner are
investigating Garret and Wilden's deaths. He has been reading a lot about them
through Wilden's reports. He agrees with Spencer saying how Wilden was harassing
them borders on un-professional at best. He wants to bring them in for questioning.
He just wants to find the truth. After that they get a message from A.
"Truth
won't set you free bitches. I'm gonna bury you with it. Kisses -A"
After A sends Emily a video of the five girls by Wilden's cop car. This scene resembles the scene of the 4 girls outside Ali's funeral from the pilot episode but now there's 5. Which I thought was very well done.
A mysterious person in a black veil turns up at Wilden's funeral and in the last scene
we see A dressing up a new doll A Mona's doll yep a Mona doll dressed in
black hoodie to boot. When A places the Mona doll we see a shrine to
Ali. A the lifts up the black veil and reveals an Alison mask but half burnt. Again I say hmmm could this have something to do with Ali's mum.
Well I am
really speechless I know you can't really tell but I am and I cannot wait for
what's gonna happen this season. The closing scenes were awesome but I have to
say that the song choice was just so awesome. For those wondering the song was
sung by “Digital Daggers” and it was called “The Devil Within”
Really
can't wait till next week.
