Pretty Little Liars 4X05 thoughts

It’s that time again, in every 'Teen Drama' show there has to be an episode about college and campus visiting. Now it's 'Pretty Little Liars' turn to do it.

Spencer (the smartest Liar) seems like she doesn't want to go to college but her mum has other ideas. Spencer's mum hires a college whisperer type guy or as Spencer calls him 'An Ivy league pimp' to try and help her get into a respectable college. She knows that it will be hard because Spencer has Radley on her college application. What a kind and thoughtful mother not caring about image or gossip.

Emily on the other hand has college on the brain because her chances of getting a swimming scholarship are zero because of her injury. So she uses Spencer's college pimp to her advantage. She should, Spencer hardly seemed interested until she figures out that 'Tippy' that annoying parrot was singing a phone number at Cicero College. Does anyone else notice that Cicero sounds like Cece? Hmmm

Hanna still thinking that her mum is guilty of killing Wilden decides to play detective and goes snooping around the house while her mother is out. She tries to open her mum's closet and surprise it’s locked. It was never locked before so she takes a page out of her boyfriend Caleb's book opens it up with a key, you guys know what that means. So while snooping in the closet Hanna finds a gun. Yep Ashley is looking more and more guilty. Which is probably why she had a little chat with Spencer's mum who just so happens to be a lawyer.

While at Cicero Emily is not really there for answers she's there for info about getting into Cicero but while she's at it she is batting her eyes at Brandon aka the college pimp. While she's doing that Spence gets her geek on and out geeks a geek in a very awesome scene and gets answers that Tippy's phone number is somewhere on Greek row.

Outside a party house Emily and Spencer get into a huge row which is so not like those two. It’s more of a Hanna thing. But the gist of it is Emily is angry at Spencer because hasn't had to be charming in her life, she gets to act like a total snot rag because "Mommy and Daddy have a safety net of cash to catch your fall"

So at a sorority party Emily is speaking to a sorority sister about a cruel house mother called Carla Grunwald who somehow seemed to know when or if a girl was going to be involved with something mischievous. Brendan shows up at the party unexpectedly off hours because he likes Em (seriously who doesn't) but she lets him down gently telling him that she is a relationship with a woman. Poor guy never had a chance.

Soon after Spence finds a secret room which I guess you can call a torture room or panic room and in this room is the phone that Tippy aka Alison has been calling. Confused yet? I know I am. And to make the situation more creepy, there are scratch marks on the door. Yep scary creepy.

Meanwhile Hanna arrives at the party freaking out that she found a gun. She finds Spencer and shows her the gun so Spence tells to not move while she goes to find Emily so what does Hanna do. She moves outside and attempts to bury the gun using a beer glass. But before she can even get the chance to dig a proper hole the cops show up because surprise surprise 'A' called them. Spence and Ems arrive just in time to see Hanna carted off and get a text from 'A'.

       "Just a friendly tip. Maybe Hanna and her Mom can share a lawyer. Kisses - A"

Meanwhile back in Rosewood Aria has been dealing with her own mommy issues. She wants her mum to go to Vienna so that she can get away from 'A' after having a nice chat with her mum in her car Ella gets attacked by a swarm of bees. (Poor Piper) Aria gets a message from 'A' before this happens.

So now more than ever Aria wants her mum to leave but there is one big road block in her plan and that so happens to be her baby brother Mike. Who we haven't seen since well let’s just say a long time. He was being kinda annoying ok not kinda VERY annoying saying that Aria "only wants mum gone so that she can boffing her teacher again." But Aria goes to her dad and convinces him to let his ex-wife go to another country with her boyfriend. That sounds so weird. Byron convinces Ella to go but I don't think the show will be the same without Piper. And did I forget to mention how nice it was to see the Montgomery family together again in the same room?

The last scene of the ep we see 'A' wiping off a dusty picture which just happens to have Carla Grunwald in it.

This ep was ok but not the best. Next week's looks to be very exciting. As usual can't wait till next week
