Chad Michael Murray joins the cast of Southland

I've been sick for like a month and as soon as I get better I come back to the awesome news that Chad Michael Murray will be joining the cast of Southland.

Teen Drama fans unite because Lucas Scott (One Tree Hill) and Ryan Atwood (The O.C) will finally be on the same show. Murray will play a character called Dave Mendoza, he is a good cop but sometimes can be unpredictable and apparently his path will cross with Benjamin McKenzie's character officer Ben Sherman and his off duty antics will not be the best influence on him.

As a OTH fan I cannot wait to see CMM back on our screens and as a Southland fan I cannot wait to see how he will influence  goody two shoes Ben Sherman (McKenzie)

A little Tid bit of information: The role of Ryan Atwood The O.C's lead character was offered to Murray first but he turned it down to play Lucas Scott, one of the main characters in One Tree Hill.So the role was given to McKenzie instead.

One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn talks about two unanswered questions

So it's been two months since One Tree Hill came to an end and I think most of us are still not over it yet. Mark Schwahn (the creator that created the awersomeness of OTH) answered some questions at the ATX festival.

First up: What ever happened to Rachel Gatina?
The hot super bitch played by Danneel Ackles was last seen in season 7 when Dan gave up his money and wanted to divorce her, and through that last season she was not mentioned once so this left fans quite puzzled on what happened to her. Well here is what mark had to say.

"Rachel's obviously fine, She's always going to be fine. She's very crafty, and yet, she has a good heart and she's in great shape." In fact, had things ended differently for Dan Scott, we may have seen more of Rachel in Tree Hill. "I think if Dan had lived, Rachel would've come back and revealed that she never signed the divorce papers," He would have said, 'You have to understand, I'm poor now!' and she would have said, 'Do you think I wasn't embezzling from you all these years? I have a bunch of your money saved up. We'll be fine.' That's how I think of Rachel. She's wily, she's wonderful, she's fine."

Another unanswered question, what happened to Lucas and Peyton?
Leyton was last seen at the end of season 6 driving off into the sunset with baby Sawyer in the back. To quote Brooke Davis. "Peyton always said people always leave, who knew she was talking about her skinny ass." Here's what Mark had to say about Leyton's whereabouts.

"I don't know if it frustrates people to hear answers like this, but there's no answer that everyone's going to be satisfied with, and I kind of like that idea that, like in real life when someone goes away, they traveled, they left, and you can fill in the blanks, If you loved those characters, you're going to fill in the blanks better than I could."

And if you didn't love those characters?  "If you hated those characters, you can fill in the blanks in a very satisfying way to fuel your hate! It's a big part of TV, where, it's like -- leave it open ended, because whatever your life experience and your part of view is, that will fill it in just fine. Yes, it was purposeful, but there was a method to the madness."

So after all of that he still never said where Lucas and Peyton ended up which suits me just fine because I was a Brucas fan anyway, sorry Leyton fans.

'Sob sob' I can't believe its really over :( for nine years this show has been awesome, and it went out in true Tree Hill fashion.

I loved Nathan, Brooke and Haley looking at their younger selves, they have all changed sooo much since seasons 1-3 which is where their younger selves came from. And of course the number 23 had to be involved with this episode somehow, any true Tree Hill fan knows that number 23 is special for the show.

I loved Haley singing in TRIC its where Haley got her big start. Funny how Nathan was standing in the exact spot watching Haley sing in season two. But Nate getting Chris back his guitar wow that is something especially after their poker game back in season three. In fact this whole TRIC concert thing is like back in season two at the grand opening of TRIC. And I think after all of these years I think we ready for Chris Keller. lol Nathan totally reversed the saying "Don't say I never gave you anything" to "Don't say you never gave me anything" Naley in the rain is such an iconic Naley moment I was glad that they put that in the episode. After Haley showed Jamie her and Lucas' wish box she looked at that awesome view and quoted Karen back in the season one finale "There is only One Tree Hill and it is your home."

Chris Keller's beard OMG wow he looks ummm different and I thought it was real. lol But both Clay and Chris slapping Chase for that horrible drink.

Baker man is officially launched so yay for Brooke and her family. And even better she bought Tara's old cafe and is turning into Baker Man a shop. Brooke to me will always be the girl behind the red girl as I've said before and now she is again.

So Dan gave Mouth $500.000 with a note saying "What you do matters." sounds kinda cryptic. But I think it has to do with Jimmy. The Edwards/Scott memorial scholarship is a great idea Mouth came up with.

Logan calling Quinn mum took me by surprised I didn't expect it so soon. And even better they adpoted Logan and got married all in the same day.

And OMG Bevin Bevin came back wow and apparently she's divorced from Tim I wonder how their son Nathan is doing.

Those two twin robot sisters are girly girls and like watching The Notebook. I now remember back in season three when Bevin Note booked Skills.

I love how they brought back Peyton's bedroom its exactly how we/they left it, even the boyfriend wish list.  Mark Schwahn knows how to bring the nostalga factor into the show.

Gavin DeGraw even came back, its like Mark Schwahn is pulling out all the stops. And I loved the whole cast singing along to Gavin DeGraw, The whole cast in Karen's Cafe was awesome as well.

The last scene when the fast foward happened and Millie is pregnant, Bevin and Skills are back together yay and Jamie got his wish and is now the lead scorer for Tree Hill High. The quote everyone was saying right at the end I'm pretty sure that they've said it before but either way it was awesome and with the U2 song 'One Tree Hill' playing in the background made this even more special.

I can't believe that its over. This show inspired me to do Thunder Thoughts and hopefully get a career in TV journalism. So thank you Mark Schwahn and the cast and crew for nine awesome years, I'm still too emotional. lol

Oh and don't worry Thunder Thoughts shall continue on without One Tree Hill :(

One Tree Hill goes out on a ratings high

The two hour series finale bought The CW its highest ratings for Wednesday night for over a year. The last ever episode averaged 1.4m viewers, I bet The CW are kicking themselves now for letting this show go. Eventhough I haven't seen it yet I know it will be good and I've got my tissues ready, so I'll post my thoughts about the episode later on today.

  Skills: "Don't tell me about bad choices, I've got a Lindsey Lohan album going on in here!"

Sophia did an swesome job directing this episode. And I was so glad that they brought back the burning boat festival, I've missed it since season one.

One little note is that Nathan and Jamie were absent from this episode because he is camping with Jamie.

I love how Brooke said "isn't that like The Creek" The Creek referring to Dawson's Creek which some people have comapred the two shows. So the network liked the pitch for an Unkindness Of Ravens which is awesome I mean how can you not and he even adding himself to the high school years which I think would have been awesome to see. So Brooke Davis does have a diary I think I remember a voice over in the episode 2x08 saying that only good girls have diaries. Brooke walks in on her divorced parents doing 'it' and now of course like any kid she wants to un see it. They were acting like horny teenagers but on the bright side, Brooke has got her company back. To me Brooke will always be the girl in the diary, the girl behind the red door.

The old Mouth is back, and he even said his memorable line "Good evening ladies and gentlemen." and now Junk is the fattest guy in Tree Hill. lol but it was great seeing Junk and Fergie again but Fergie's hair, its gotten so much bigger since the last time we saw him. I think that its awesome that Mouth is going back to sports, he's been doing that all of his life. And I was so hoping that they would pick Skills as Mouth's replacement anchor, he was an awesome when he was on the show that one time but what about his sports choreography career. Mills and Skills, awesome name.

Logan's first sleep over was a real success apart from the whole water trying to suck him up and the sharks, jellyfish and fish monsters. It turns out that all you have to do it bribe him with ice cream. "Marry me Quinn James" awesome proposal with the Green Lantern ring but I have to say, its about time.

I can understand Skills wanting to burn his Lindsey Lohan cds but not the opening night of TRIC cd, I can't believe he kept that was the leaflet that was inside.

TRIC's ten year anniversary, Chase is right it does deserve a concert and even better Haley spoke to Karen and she is gonna sell Chase TRIC.

Awesome episode as always can't believe there is only one episode left. As usual can't wait till next week, actually I'm not sure if I wanna say that since Tree Hill is gonna end next week

One Tree Hill 9X11 thoughts

                              Dan: "I know where you're going but what about me?"
                              Keith: "Don't worry little brother, you're my plus one"

First off I just wanna say that I loved the flashbacks in this episode. For me they made this awesome sad episode just a bit more awesome.

Julian of course driving the police car like a maniac avoiding cars and road works, didn't know where the siren was, so of course Dan while bleeding out in the back of the car tells him "its the middle button" lol

The Dan and Nathan scene was just so hard to watch, Nathan was feeling guilty about not spending more time with dad and now its too late. Its totally understandable that Lucas didn't come back for Dan after what he did to Keith. But when he apologised to Haley for taking Keith away from her was kinda shocking. When Jamie hugged Dan and when Dan was holding his grandchildren, I admit that I almost lost it. I said it before and I said it again I love Dan and Deb together. "Deb how about one more for old times sake" I kinda wished that happened even if it does sound bad. lol But Dan dreaming and finally coming clean and telling Nathan what really happened in the school, episode 3X16 btw was really good. But when Nathan finally said to Dan "you're my father and I love you" I almost lost it again even though it was just a dream. Dan finally playing basketball with with Nathan on the Rivercourt was such a great dream sequence I wish it went on for longer. But see Keith and him saying "Hi Danny" well I lost it I admit it. I teared up a little especially they both said that they love each other. I loved the line Dan said "I know where you're going, but what about me?" Keith then replied "Don't worry little brother you're my plus one" meaning that Dan Scott is now in heaven.

"Hi Hales" I can see why that line was trending on twitter. That Naley reunion was awesome. "Always and forever"

But I didn't even realise that both Nathan and Jamie were kidnapped and saved by Dan until Jamie said it. Nathan had to tell him that Dan isn't going to leave the hospital and g camping with them. Jamie kept saying that Scott men are strong.

Its about time the police did something right and sent Xavier back to jail. And this time for good. "You've now saved the two most important men in my life" when Haley said that to Julian, I'm not afraid to admit that it made me smile a lot. But I love Julian's new project turning Lucas' book from a film to tv show.

Brooke's dad is kinda a jerk but very manipulative. I guess he only cares about the money and not his daughter. I don't think that he will be coming back anytime soon.

The Clay and Logan reunion was really sweet. It was only a matter of time until Logan came around and I'm glad that he did. And Logan finally met Quinn, they seemed to get along well.

I was glad that Joe Davola directed this episode, I wanted either him or Mark. I was so shocked that Craig Sheffer aka Keith came back in ghost form of course. Love him or hate him Dan Scott is a character you love to hate.

One Tree Hill 9x10 thoughts

                     "I can't go to prison you said it yourself they'll like me there!"

As soon as the episode began I was like "How the hell did Chris Keller get involved in this? "Apparently he followed Haley and now wants to help. Dan got suspicious about the cops and good thing he did because he was spot on with his accusations. Oh and Chris Keller's name new name is "Peacock" Dan Scott doesn"t like that Chris Keller and Julian have never fired a gun before. lol Dan mentioning Chris' crush on Haley since high school was awesome even though I hated it back in season two and sorta three. But Julian has some good aim but Dan with a shotgun was awesome. Watching Dan's plan in action was like an Ocean's 11 movie. But what Dan did for Julian was nice, he didn"t want him to be part of it. Dan talking about Chris' fan base was mean and awesome at the same time. And I remember that scene in the car from the first episode, the preview for the entire season. Dan's plan was awesome, him with the shotgun...awesome and when he and Nathan were hiding... awesome. But when Nathan said to Dan "Dad its good to see you" that was a heart warming moment. But Julian saved Nate...yay

Xavier totally messed up Karen's Cafe and of course hot b***h Tara does nothing to help. Xavier leaving his initial on the counter was like bragging. Jack Xavier's brother used to call him that back in season six. But I wish that they would stop showing the flash back to season six to when the incident happened. Julian said that he was in a movie but Brooke looks like she's really in the movie. Lights go out and the creepy music usually starts.  And him following Brooke yeah stalker much. But the whole Brooke situation it reminded me of Peyton vs Psycho Derek back in season four. But I was wrong about Tara when she saved Brooke. But she's gonna have to sell the cafe now lol her words not mine.

And talking about season four, Haley watching the video of Nathan's press conference from season four was another awesome flashback. But all of these Nathan flash backs make it seem like he was going to die. We hardly saw Haley this episode apart from when she was praying and re-living memories.

Fortitude I was like "seriously" Nathan of all the words that come to your mind its fortitude, I can understand its his busniesses name but still seriously. I thought that it was only one cop involved not a bunch of them.

And speaking of fortitude I was wondering where Clay and Quinn were heading this episode but when I saw the flowers I knew that he was headed to Sara's grave. He needed to talk to her and not her ghost, spirit or whatever.. he needs to get Logan to call him dad again.

So Nathan has been saved, Xavier is hopefully back in jail. But Dan Scott is probably gonna die judging from the previews. But on the plus side Jamie is back next week.

One Tree Hill 9X09 thoughts

"Chris Keller thinks those jack asses weakened our nation today!"

I can't believe that there are only four episodes left. Tree Hill is gonna go out with a bang that's for sure. But a good bang or a bad bang that is the question.

Haley and Dan working together is like angels and devil working together. And OMG Haley OMG wow I was speechless when she showed up in that costume. She was so convincing and when she hitting him, WOW again. But when Dan said "you should give Deb back her clothes" I could not stop laughing. Dan's torture methods are scarily effective.

I can't believe that Chuck lied to the police and now Chase is out of the airforce and possibly going to jail. Chris wanting to help is kinda a surprise because Chris Keller only cares about Chris Keller, but I would so follow that help Chase twitter feed. But Chuck cut it a bit too close when he came as a character witness for Chase. "Chris Keller thinks the airforce weakened our nation today!" still laughing at that line. But at least he got a general discharge and not dishonourable one. So he can still fly just not for the airforce.

And continuing from last week’s major cliffhanger, Clay finally told Quinn about the son he forgot he had. Clay and Logan are cute together. I was like shouting at the tv "tell him Clay tell him." He's fuge state made so much sense when the therapist said Quinn found him: By the pool, at the beach and at the playground. All the places that you would take a child to. I can understand why Logan said no but come on, I hope he comes around.

I still don't understand how the parole commitee can let Xavier back on the streets, and now he wants something from hot bitchy Tara. Apparently he wanted a job if his plan is to get under Brooke's skin its working. But when he snuck intro Brulian's house and was holding the baby, wow creepy.

Skills taking his dog for a run aka Mouth or now Chance/Chubbs. lol Atleast he's getting the old Mouth back, we need the old Mouth back. But when they visited Jimmy's grave wow that was sad, now imstarting to miss Jimmy and Keith. But when he was clearing out the fridge I was like "what a waste" I don't like pizza but even that was making me hungry.

So what do you guys think, has OTH gotten a bit too dark? Are you happy with the direction this final OTH season has taken, do you think Dan's torture methods will work? As usual can't wait till next week.

One Tree Hill 9X08 thoughts

           "I tried to kill you in the past but we have to put that aside and look for our son"

             I wish Deb would have said that to Dan

Yay Grandma Deb is back and so is Ms Lauren and David (Quinn's ex husband) And Ms Lauren is pregnant I thought it was obvious who the dad was because Alison Munn and Scott Holyrod are married in real life.

I knew when Dan went to jail he would get info from a person in there. But I was wondering who Dan beat up and it turns out that it was an officer that some prisoners hated. So Clay's drug dealer knows Dimitri aka Nathan's kidnapper man its a small world. But that Dan and Deb scene was so awesome they need to get married again. I said it before and I'll say it again Julian being Dan's wingman is awesome.

Haley telling the tale of how Nathan making decisions for his family and not for him was very sweet, he's come a long way since season 1. I'm glad that the body wasn't Nathan's, I know I shouldn't say that because that body belongs to someone else. Thank god for Grandma Den I've missed her. I was hoping that she would stay and help Brooke in the cafe since she used to own it. Haley must be really desperate if she went to see Dan, hopefully some good can come from this.

And I think it is creepy that Xavier is still watching Brooke and asking for a job... yeah so wrong. And him just showing up being all stalkery is even more creepy, why doesn't he just leave her alone. And judging from the previews for next week its about to get a whole lot more serious.

Logan is still cute I kinda wanted Clay and Quinn to adpot him. It was hard to listen to Clay recount the tale of what he did after Sarah had died, personally I think he tried to kill himself. But I think it was good that David came back for Nathan and Haley, he's looking different from the last time I saw him which was on Chuck. "Oh Pregnant's the girl your seeing" Loved Quinn's line when she saw David and Ms Lauren together. I said it was a small world and it is, Clay being Logan's dad OMG WTH OMG. That's awesomely weird so I wanna know how Quinn's gonna take the news, she did say earlier in the ep that she wanted kids. And now she kinda has one. And I did say before I wanted them to adopt Logan, looks like I may get my wish.

From that preview in the first episode I always wondered what Chase was doing in the back of a police car and now I know. I'm not saying what he did was right but I prolly would have done the same thing if I were in his shoes, and now he can't serve for the next 3 years.

This show just keeps getting better and better. As usual can't wait till next week

One Tree Hill 9X07 thoughts

              Luke what have you done to your hair?

Yay Chad Michael Murray has returned to Tree Hill, oh how Tree Hill has missed Lucas Scott. And it wasn't weird that Austin Nichols directed this episode which btw he did a fantastic job.

Yay I absolutely love Laley scenes, I miss those scenes its like back to season but I was disappointed that there was no Brucas scenes I mean how can that happen, not even a Dan and Lucas scene. So turns out that Lucas is taking Jamie and Lydia back with him.

And yay for Nate not being affraid saying that the kidnapper won't have his fear. But I burst out laughing when the kidnapper said "Are you Chuck from Gossip Girl." The kidnapper has a name and it is Dimitri. But Nate escaped looks like he's been watching too many movies with that whole escape scene. But that cop that turned Haley away, I knew he was in on the whole kidnapping scandal. I just didn't think that he was the ring leader.

I can understand the police not convicting Xavier of Q's murder due to insufficient evidence but he should have gotten life for what he did. But Brooke how can she even look at the guy let alone forgive him. I hated that flashback scene to when Brooke was attacked, it was hard to watch again.  But I was glad that Brooke never forgave Xavier he doesn't deserve it. But how the hell can the parole board let Xavier go I mean what is wrong with them and him watching Brooke through the cafe window? yeah creepy.

Clay is feeling guilty for Nathan's kidnapping because it should have been him going to Europe not Nathan.

Chase has been drafted so I hope this doesn't mean that he is leaving Tree Hill. But what about Chuck? surely he can't leave him with Chris Keller and his dead beat dad. I knew his dead was a dead beat but I didn't think that he would beat his own son.

"Prison is gonna love Julian" loved that line Dan said. Dan is still playing detective and trying to find Nathan and I thought it was good that Julian gave Dan the video Nathan sent to Jamie as there was a clue in it to Nathan's whereabouts.

It was good to see Luke again, he needs to come back to Tree Hill. Great

episode as always and as usual can't wait till next week.
